ilker Canikligil's Short: "Want To Fly"

Istanbul - A short film at the movies for the first time in Turkey!
ilker Canikligil' s new short film, "Ucmak Istiyorum" (Want to Fly), opened in Beyoglu August 25.
The film screened with the support of Exceptional Films will be on view with another film, "Karanlik Sular" (The Serpent' s Tale), a production of Kutlug Ataman based on a Turkish cultural crisis.
The film aims to bring a short, experimental, underground concept on the old dream of humankind: flying. The only actor in the film Murat Onol is also the vocalist for the rock group Perfect Day, that composed the music for the film. The young director Ilker Canikligil' s new film has been praised by several critics and film authorities.
